For The Music Man! began in 2020 as the name of my radio show for Point Park University’s student run broadcasting station, WPPJ Radio. I hosted weekly episodes of my show playing, discussing, and learning more about the one thing I love in this crazy world: music.
I wasn’t ready for For The Music Man! to end when I graduated from Point Park in 2023. Using my writing skills, I decided to turn my radio show into a blog, where you can read about my experiences as I continue my exploration of music. I cover many music related topics including album releases, local shows, interviews, and more. I hope you enjoy, and remember, it’s all For The Music Man!
Giovanni Mori is a writer and multi-instrumentalist from Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Screenwriting. He was also heavily involved in broadcasting for WPPJ Radio during the majority of his college years.
Outside of Point Park, Giovanni is a musician and guitar instructor at the School of Rock, a performance based music school where a variety of musical genres are explored including Blues, Classic Rock, Punk, and Heavy Metal. He plays guitar, sings, and writes music for multiple bands and musical projects based in Pittsburgh including Eye Candy and Chub Clampion. He has also explored various acting roles as an extra and supporting role in musicals, films, and music videos.
